I know I feel like I say this all the time but I can’t believe Lacey is a senior in high school! Most of you know that the ballet world is a small world. I have know the Gigliotti family for quite some time now. Lacey’s mom Valerie is a teacher currently a teacher at Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh and I met her while she was teaching me at another school in the area. I also danced with Lacey’s cousin Rachel Klisavage who is currently a professional ballet dancer with Missouri Ballet Theater. Lacey intends on keeping with the family tradition by pursuing a professional ballet career this 2014. She recently attended Nashville ballet’s summer program and loved it. I am sure she made an impression with her spectacular jumps and leaps. Not only is Lacey an amazing dancer but a beautiful person. We did Lacey’s shoot at Washington’s Landing in Pittsburgh, PA. This was the first time I shot there and loved every minute of it. We actually were able to get very different looks because one day was overcast/pouring rain (oh pittsburgh) and the other was bright and sunny. I am not sure I can pick a favorite so be sure to tell me which ones you like.
Make sure you check out Lacey as Snow Queen and Arabian in this years performance of the Nutcracker by Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh December 6, 7, & 8 at Independence Middle School. Can’t wait to see where Lacey’s career takes her! Congrats on your senior year Lacey!
