What a beautiful way to start the new year! I was thrilled when I was asked to photograph Johnny and Jacie’s wedding earlier this month. As soon as I sat down with Jacie, I knew it was going to be a good fit. Johnny and Jacie are both ballet teachers and professional ballet dancers. Photographing a wedding with dancers=awesome. They had so much character, knew how to pose, how to stand, and of course, how to have fun. Johnny and Jacie got married on January 3, 2014 at the Long Beach Recreational Park. The ceremony was held outside next to the venue. It was a cool day with just a few clouds in the sky. Shortly after Jacie met Johnny at the gazebo, the two took part in placing love letters into a box which they then sealed with a hammer and nails. Not only were their love letters in the box but also the wine from the wedding for them to open and enjoy five years after their wedding. The new Mr. and Mrs. Zhong then walked down the aisle hand and hand ready to start their new life together. We ventured out to the golf course to take some photos before the sunset. The night quickly went by with cake cutting, bouquet tossing and lots of dancing. Check out some of the photographs their gorgeous wedding here.
